Becoming a Chews Landing Fire Department firefighter is a great way to serve your community. You help save lives and property and assist people during their time of need.

No previous experience? That’s OK! We provide no cost training and the equipment you’ll need to safely develop your skills, gain experience and become an asset to your community. All you need to do is show you’re dedicated and willing to learn.
Membership Requirements:
Probationary Active Member
- At least 18 years old
- In good health
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Clear criminal record
Junior Firefighter
- 16 years old
- Currently enrolled in high school
- In good health
- Parental permission in writing
