At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners District #2 on Wednesday April 10, 2024, Captain Nick Procopio, Firefighter Nick Ritz, and Firefighter Dan Foley of Squad 88 A-Platoon were presented with individual plaques of the Unit Citation they were awarded for their actions at a Dwelling fire on February 12, 2023. Their actions, along with those of the crew of Runnemede Fire Department Quint 7, resulted in the removal of a trapped occupant while simultaneously extinguishing the fire. These actions could not have occurred were it not for their dedication to duty, professionalism, training, and most importantly the public, that we all hope to exhibit.
